Frank L. Cikutovich: Biography
Frank L. Cikutovich was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He attended catholic grade schools and eventually graduated somewhere in his high school class at Sachem High School, Long Island New York. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in April of 1985. While enlisted in the Marines, Mr. Cikutovich traveled throughout the Pacific rim, the Orient, Africa and Australia. In April of 1989 he earned an Honorable Discharge.
Mr. Cikutovich attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo California, where he majored in Political Science. In college he was a member of the Pre-Law Society as well as an Officer in the Civil Rights Society. During College he helped raise funds to have Cesar Chavez and Morris Dees speak at the University. In two short years he earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
In the Fall of 1992 he attended Gonzaga University School of Law. During Law school he was elected Student Bar Association representative to the American Bar Association. Mr. Cikutovich was granted admission to Phi Delta Phi, the International Legal Honor Fraternity. He was recognized for his public service work in 1992-1993 and received Public Service Honors from the Law School Dean. Additionally, Mr. Cikutovich was elected President of the Gonzaga Student Bar Association in 1994-1995.
In 1995, Mr. Cikutovich graduated from Gonzaga with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Mr. Cikutovich worked as a legal intern for Pat Stiley and Associates beginning in 1994. After passing the Bar exam Mr. Cikutovich became an associate at Pat Stiley and Associates.
On April Fool's Day 1998, Pat Stiley & Frank Cikutovich became partners. This office is currently located at 1408 W. Broadway here in Spokane, WA. We also have a satellite office in Belize.
In 1996 Mr. Cikutovich was selected as a member of the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission. He was then elected to serve as the Chair of the Committee. Mr. Cikutovich wrote and helped pass the first Human Rights Ordinance
in Spokane's history. This is Human Rights Ordinance C32232, passed January 25, 1999.
Mr. Cikutovich emphasis is Criminal Defense. He has conducted jury trials in District, Superior and Federal Court. He also co-counseled a death penalty case which was brought before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Cikutovich has four boys. He wants his boys to walk tall and straight, stand up for what is right, respect their elders, and take care of business.
He served his country, and knows what it is to put on a uniform, salute a flag and get along in crummy conditions. He has a love of life and for the most part, takes care of business.
